Most Spectacular Crash: |
Going too fast down a mountain trail I missed a hop over a log and crashed into the drainage ditch alongside the trail. A large branch ended up sticking through the spokes of my rear wheel. Mike was riding behind me and saw the whole thing - that's the worst part. |
Favorite Local Ride: | Huguenot Street/Plains Road is perfect for a casual recreational ride. You get wonderful views of the Shawangunk Ridge and pass through the Huguenot Historic District with it's original Stone Houses. Both ends of this route join to the Rail Trail. Round trip is about 6 miles. |
